Everyone forever thinks of I or Me.
For any individual I is the object, meaning that you should use “I” if you are the one acting, while “me” is the word to use when an action is done to you.
Let me tell you about I & Me
(It could be all about you!)
I normally know who I am
The others tell Me about me
I live and act as I want to
For Me there are restrictions galore
I lose my heart to every damsel
Their beauty enchants me
I often feel as a Casanova
A smooth-talking charmer
who finds, meets, attracts and seduces
accomplishes, proceeds to find his next conquest
For me these are taboos, forbidden best forsaken and forgotten
I want to be Wordsworth
I wish I had written this
“I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breez”
Poetry will not fetch my daily bread for me while publishing it will make me rich.
I know I can perform
Much better than Marlon Brando in any role in a movie
I can sing and dance and charm my fans
I can win awards and accolade and be a legend loved and worshipped
Acting is not for me, the profession is for imbeciles, hair-brained, profligates and prodigals.
My heart beats fast when Messi has the ball
My dribbles, passes and shots will fetch far many more goals
I will win every year Ballon d’Or
My team will win every game
For me to play in an International team
Years of practice hard work and dedication has to be in me
Even if a modicum of talent exists in me
I do not desire any specific profession least being a politician
There are many choices that are suitable for me
A doctor, an engineer, a scientist, an entrepreneur and such like
Any of these will reward me, fame will pursue me and my name will be preeminent
I am my own destiny
For Me destiny waits
I missed my flight while writing this sitting in a restaurant at Bangaluru airport! Lesson learnt!
