Ek Tanha Parinda
Saji hai Bagh, har su rang-o-boo hai,
Per ek parinda wahaan mayus baitha hai.
Phoolon ke hujoom mein bebus tanha hai,
Ajnabi khayal aur jazbat mein gumshuda hai.
Bagh-e-hayaat bhi kya ajeeb samaan hai,
Daulat, izzat, shaan aur bahut Kuch hai,
Per dil mein betab khaali jagah jo rehti hai,
Use bas rooh ke sukoon ki talab rehti hai.
Hai masroof duniya mein tanha musafir,
Pa liya Shane Shaukat na hui khushi haazir.
Uski bhi Kahani is nazuk parinday jaisi,
Udte rahe Aasman mein, raah na zameen per payi.
Hai chaman mein woh chhota sa parinda,
Yahan hujoom mein ho Akele tum Elham,
Yeh tanhai nahin hai, yeh ehsaas hai veerani ka,
Ki har cheez ke hone par bhi, kuch na hone ka, na karo gham.
Elham

A Lonely Bird
The garden is adorned, colors and fragrance are everywhere,
Yet a bird sits there, despondent and forlorn.
Amidst the multitude of flowers, it is helpless and alone,
Lost in unfamiliar thoughts and emotions.
What a strange sight is the Garden of Life,
There is wealth, respect, glory, and so much more,
But the restless, empty space that resides in the heart,
It only yearns for the peace of the soul.
As A lonely traveler in a busy world,
Achieved glory and splendor, but happiness did not arrive.
Its story is also like this fragile bird,
Kept flying in the sky, but found no path on the ground.
That small bird is in the garden,
Here, in this crowd, you are alone, Elham,
This is not loneliness, this is the feeling of desolation,
Do not grieve that even with everything present, there is a feeling of something missing.
Elham
