Consumed by pride filled with joy and exuberance we can proclaim unequivocally that 270 Engineer Regiment has lived up to and has preserved its motto,”Sada Vijay” (Forever Victory). My tenure as a Commanding Officer of the Regiment has been the best period of my service in the Corps Of Engineers. Nostalgia rekindled when I heard the video sent to me by my Regiment colleague. Would like to share it with you.

Impressions, Perceptions and Views. 
Yes, the tenure of a CO is the best in service career. The Pride in the Regt is intrinsic to Command.
Even after commanding 12 ER, when I got a call from our Col of the Regt – Bobby Baretto – asking whether I would like to command another regt, I immediately said Yes. Thus enjoyed almost 6 years of command. Have been very lucky.

When I saw and felt the officers and the men of the Regt putting their best forward, performing difficult and arduous tasks and achieving resounding successes, enthused me to present them with “Sada Vijay” motto. I have seen this unit from a very close quarter as a sister unit in the same station… I dare say this Bombay Sapper outfit is amongst the very best.. Vibhor and Shilpi are one of the finest couple that the unit could have as their first couple.. Enjoyed the song, written and composed by my unit officer and sung by Shilpi, now a เคธเคฆเคพ เคตเคฟเคเคฏ family, not letting our association in 105 let go so easily.. All the best to 270… May the unit continue to do the Indian Army proud…
