Movie Review: Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part I

Watched the movie with Eshan, Ayaan and their parents today at the River Front multiplex at Delaware.
It is but natural that stories that shake our imagination are those that lead us on to our future lives being transformed due to the rapid progress in artificial intelligence.  This movie attempts to project the disaster that can be caused by using AI as a tool to subvert and change our lives when the mechanism could be used by people of countries such as USA, Russia, India and Japan
(China is not mentioned in the dialogue as, according to Eshan, it would lead to a possible banning the picture).
Would not go any further with the story to spoil your excitement.
Personally I find this movie filled with action scenes which are stupendous and thrilling. The para drop, performed personally by Tom Cruise, from the hill top on his mobyke left me shift my posture on my seat.
Shot mainly in Europe, the photography has done full justice to the beautiful locales filled with scenic panorama.
The suspense does catch up at places when unpredictable happenings occur. The musical score is very much in consonant with the theme and the drums do reverberate loudly along with  fast paced movements.
To expect stellar acting performances in an action movie is like expecting an orator to deliver a speech while running a 100 meter race. However, by and large the artists have performed pleasantly well, especially the lady with the troubled childhood.
The director has kept the audience attention engaged throughout and there is no dull moment.

Eshan has rated it : 9.5/10

Me: 9/10 (loved the action and
                   Tom cruise running
                    to elude the
                    chasers)
