A Day at Harvard University Campus

(A painting in Fogg Musuem of Art, Harvard)

The rather long wait ended when Sabila, my daughter, decided to take a day off and conduct me around Harvard University, where she is working in their Information and Technology Organization (HUIT). Sharing my experience with you. I had been there earlier but the visits were short. Today we had the whole day. Will not narrate anything that you can connect with on the internet.

An hours drive in a fairly light and even traffic took us to the outskirts of the universsity.

We park the car and enter through the Gate into the University Yard, where all functions which relate to the University are held; the graduation ceremony and so on.

The manicured lawns with shady trees are surrounded by the Church, the classrooms buildings and the library.

The Bible in Latin in the library.

A peep into the classrooms.

Leaving the Yard.
The Graduate School of Arts & Science
The Science Center

Fogg Museum of Arts

A few works of Art

Guided tours for adults and students

Smith Center, for all purpose.
Train to catch …..?
Hopefully a few from our coming generation will consider to be one.
